Electrical Estimator

Location Requirements:
Onsite in Tampa, Florida
Must be able to work in-office and attend local project-related meetings as needed
What You’ll Be Doing:
You’ll support and manage the estimating process across a wide range of projects ($100K–$5M+), including healthcare, hospitality, retail, restaurants, schools, manufacturing, multifamily, and industrial work.
Day-to-day, you’ll:
Review plans, specifications, and drawings to determine scope of work
Prepare detailed estimates using Accubid or similar estimating software
Analyze estimates to ensure accuracy and completeness
Request and evaluate vendor and subcontractor pricing
Identify qualified suppliers and ensure quotes align with project requirements
Quantify labor, materials, tools, equipment, and other project costs
Assist in preparing complete and competitive bid packages
Collaborate with leadership to review scope, pricing, and technical details prior to submission
Support project turnover by clearly communicating estimate details to project teams
Draft scope inclusions, exclusions, and clarifications
Provide value engineering ideas and cost-saving recommendations
Qualifications:
3+ years of electrical estimating experience
Experience with Accubid LiveCount and/or Bluebeam preferred
Strong understanding of electrical construction processes across various project types
Knowledge of electrical codes and installation methods
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
Field experience preferred
Compensation:
$75,000 – $100,000 base salary
